The Company:
Our client’s activities focus on the production of machines for the steel and non-ferrous metals industry, with more than 120 employees permanently involved in the design, construction, manufacturing and supply of strip processing lines and cold rolling mills. Our client company belongs to a group of companies being one of the world’s leading suppliers of equipment for the metal industry and ranks among the 3 largest in the world.
The Responsibilities:
The role consists of the management of customer orders for capital equipment and after-sales service for the business unit. The future incumbent will manage the contract directly, represent the company in front of the customer and share the final result of the job order (commissioning and closing). Furthermore, the role consists of a joint profit & loss responsibility as well as partly the driving of the technological development of new and existing services and products including the determination of an innovation road map.
The Candidate: (m/f/d)
The future incumbent should possess an academic degree (preferably an university’s degree) covering mechanical engineering, electrical & automation, mechatronics, metallurgy, material science, or similar areas. It is important that the future incumbent has already gained international sales experience in the specialized field of the product line with successful track record and customer and market knowledge. Excellent interpersonal as well as good analytical and problem-solving skills should be basics.
